The new Information Security Management System (S.G.S.I.) in Panel allows the company to incorporate information security in our culture as an organizsation, while making a differential value for our customers and partners. It consists of a set of measures, controls and procedures to safeguard the information generated in the company to potential threats, looking organizational aspects, safety and asset protection measures.
With the SGSI, the company reduces risks of unavailability, human error, theft, loss or corruption of information, and helps the organisation to discern what to do, how and when about an incident related to the information security. It also reinforces the internal organization of information, defining responsibilities and obligations and helping security management with our customers and suppliers.
The system is based on ISO 27001, published in 2005, and which is expected to officially certify Panel Sistemas in the coming months.
