HP - HPSA Service Enabler

Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) is an American multinational enterprise information technology company based in San Jose, California.

We collaborate with our client HPE in the development of the HPSA product, HP's software platform for the activation and provision of network services.

THE CHALLENGE

Evolve HP software for the activation and provision of network services.

The HPSA product, based on Java technology and declarative languages, allows activating the services on the network that are contracted by customers, and in Spain it is implemented in practically all telecommunications operators.

The HPSA product, once installed and integrated into the environment of a Communications Service Provider (CSP), automates the processes inherent to the creation and activation of new telecommunications services. It is not specific to any network or type of service, and can be applied through mobile or fixed Internet environments.

THE SOLUTION

Collaborate in the development of the HPSA product.

Panel's collaboration is carried out with the HPE product development team in Madrid, in the CMS (Communication & Media Solutions) area and in turn in the OSS (Operation Support System) block.

HPSA software focuses on activation, but encompasses compliance with the entire technology stack, as defined within the TeleManagement Forum's Business Process Framework (eTOM), including order management, resource inventory, and activation. of services.

The core of the platform is a highly scalable workflow engine that runs activation-oriented workflows, and is designed to support various plug-ins that control activation targets in the CSP network and IT service infrastructure. regardless of the protocol used for activation.

The open, standards-based architecture allows HPSA to integrate with partner content activation systems, and other OSS / BSS software.
