THE CUSTOMER NEEDS
The needs of Telefonica OntheSpot consist of improving the quality of its Testing techniques as well as the implementation of automatic Quality Assurance mechanisms, which increase the reliability of the regressions in its business processes and allow to alleviate the manual workload of its internal testing team.
OUR VALUE PROPOSAL
Our value proposal in this project has been the provision of a comprehensive quality assurance service aimed at the verification and validation of the company’s digital marketing commercial products.
The service includes the consultancy to the Onthespot’s development team in methodology, based on the experience in our Center of Excellence in SQA and Testing (CEST) and proposing the use of our tools ecosystem. Likewise, the current Technological Platform of Telefónica Onthespot has also been expanded to allow the automatic execution of the designed tests.
These tools include our functional test automation solution, Zahorí®. Zahorí® is a test automation solution oriented to business flows, and not only to test cases, which allows to ensure the behavior of applications in a more productive and less expensive way. Zahorí® guarantees the automation of any business process regardless of technology, and can be integrated with any tool in the market. It is multi-platform and multi-device, and has no associated license costs.
The most significant achievements in this project are:
– Clear improvement of the implementation deadlines for their applications.
– To have an early automation capacity, parallel to the development of applications and new functionalities.
– Have a sustainable automation software, easily maintainable and independent of the technology.
– Use of the Panel’s devices farm to perform specific tests on mobile devices, mainly Android.
– The maintenance of the automatic processes developed in the project is minimized.
– The number of software incidents in the flow into Production process and its associated costs is reduced.
