PROBLEM

One of the main problems faced by the Client was the adaptation and fulfilment of new international payment regulations such as SEPA, and there was insufficient TTM.

The incoming payment technological environment is in constant evolution and there were significant operating differences in each country. Likewise, the complexity of interoperability with third parties, such as Chambers, Central Banks and Regulatory Bodies was very high and there was excessive dependency on certain product providers, such as Clear2Pay and Remesas. Lastly, the solutions at the Client were departmental, not global, which increased the complexity of end-to-end tests.

SOLUTION

The solution adopted by the Client was, firstly, the Integration of the commercial payment platform Clear2Pay in the bank’s systems, adapting main components of the product to its own reality.

Next, the adaptation to SEPA was undertaken and an integrated end-to-end test plan was executed, including the automation of functional tests, all through a new client-provider model.

It consisted basically of:

  • The parameterisation and deployment of the Clear2Pay platform in different countries.
  • Quality Assurance services, including design, execution and automation of end-to-end tests using Zahorí®.
  • 24×7 coverage of N1 and N2 platform support and maintenance, with worldwide scope.
  • Support for the redesign and new roadmap of the platform for adapting to the new payment standards.
