We say goodbye to the 2018 season of the 101 Panel Tech Days, with a session in which we try to introduce the concept of Business intelligence, talking about its advantages and virtues and then go on to explain how it has been implemented with the tools Hadoop, Oozie and Apache Drill through a practical example in a real client.
Among the tools that Apache offers us, we learned more about:
- Apache Hadoop is a software framework that supports applications distributed under a free license. It enables applications to work with thousands of nodes and petabytes of data.
- Apache Oozie is a server-based workflow scheduling system for managing Hadoop jobs. Workflows in Oozie are defined as a collection of control flow and action nodes in a directed acyclic chart.
- Apache drill is an open source software framework that supports distributed data-intensive applications for interactive analysis of large-scale data sets.
For this interesting talk we have the presence of Jose Luis Muñoz Ortega, partner of Panel Sistemas with more than 13 years of experience that will guide us in the introduction to this concept of Business Intelligence.
